Georgian Bluffs developing Community Improvement Plan

Georgian Bluffs wants feedback as the Township staff starts work on a Community Improvement Plan.

Business owners, farm operators, and other residents are asked to help chart a prosperous future by sharing their thoughts through a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) survey.

The community Improvement Plan would support investment in municipality by offering financial incentives like grants, loans, and rebates. The survey touches on themes like housing, agricultural development, revitalizing downtown spaces, and transforming underutilized properties.

The information collected will help staff ensure the plan meets the community's unique needs and vision, by revealing community preferences.

People will also have a chance to contribute to the plan through focus group events for specific sectors in early 2024, and a Public Open House later in the spring.

People can visit www.engageGB.ca/CIP to find the survey. Hard copies of the survey will also be available at the Township Office and recreation facilities.
