Wingham Catch the Ace winner nets over $20,000

A local woman found the lucky card, ending the Wingham Knights of Colombus' Catch the Ace contest after 34 weeks.

Cory Young was the weekly winner at Thursday night's draw and selected card number 29, which turned out to be the much sought after Ace of Spades.

The win entitled her to the grand prize total of $20,059, plus another $500 for being a weekly winner.

The draw began back on May 25, 2023.

The Knights say another Catch the Ace will begin in the near future, once they secure another licence to run the draw.
