Chesley Emergency Department temporarily closed

The Chesley Emergency Department is experiencing a temporary closure due to a lack of nursing staff.

As of 7 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, it is closed until Thursday, January 25 at 7 a.m.

Ambulance bypass has been undertaken and patients will be taken to the nearest open emergency department.

Anyone needing immediate medical assistance should call 911. For non-urgent needs, Health Connect Ontario is available by calling 811.
