West Perth barn fire under control

Firefighters say a barn fire that broke out along Perth Line 44 is now under control and the road has been reopened.

The West Perth Fire Department responded to a call Friday morning between Road 150 and 155, near Bornholm.

They were aided by crews from North Perth and Perth East fire departments.

There's no word yet on if any losses were suffered or the extent of the damage.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
