The Township of Georgian Bluffs is calling on residents for feedback on the draft 2024 Budget.

The Committee of the Whole will be meeting at 5 p.m. on February 7 for a special public input session. The meeting is a chance for the public to help decide on the community's financial decisions.

At this time, the draft budget includes an investment of $13 million into community services and infrastructure projects.

Major project proposals include multi-year funding for Emery and Sideroad 3 bridges, drainage in Balmy Beach, road surface improvements, a dog park in Shallow Lake, investment in the recently approved Climate Action Plan, and various technology upgrades.

Anyone who wishes to take part in the meeting should register in advance through the Clerk's Department. To do so, call the Clerk's Office at 519-376-2729 ext. 603 or fill out the online Delegation Request Form.
