Police investigating pair of thefts

Grey Bruce OPP are investigating two thefts that took place in Southgate recently.

On January 26, police responded to a report of a stolen camper trailer from a property on Highway 6 in Southgate. The trailer is described as a 26-foot Starcraft Autumn Ridge BHS. It is white in colour and has black and brown decals on it. There was no license plate attached. The trailer was stolen between January 21 and January 26.

Police also received word of a vehicle theft from a property on Eco Park Way in Southgate. The vehicle is described as a 2017 black Dodge Grand Caravan with Nova Scotia plate HFV079. The vehicle was stolen between January 26 and January 28.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
