Police recover stolen vehicle and charge two suspects

Grey Bruce OPP have charged two residents of Blue Mountains after recovering a stolen vehicle.

On January 29, police received word of a stolen vehicle on Road 55 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Police were told a suspect showed up to a residence in a vehicle that the homeowner believed was stolen.

The vehicle was abandoned in a live traffic lane on Road 55 in Grey Highlands. The investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen from a business in the Town of the Blue Mountains. 

With assistance from Collingwood OPP, two residents aged 27 and 29, were arrested and charged with Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.

Both of the accused are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on February 15, 2024.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
