High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

You can expect partly cloudy in the morning, with rain in the afternoon

A school bus and an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crashed on Molesworth Line near Huron East, late Wednesday afternoon.Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the area at about 5 p.m.According to police, none of the 13 students who were on board the bus at the time of the crash were injured. Neither were the bus driver nor the young ATV driver.Police warned that the crash could have been much more serious and are asking the public to familiarize themselves with <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.ontario.ca/page/driving-road-vehicle-orv">ATV safety</a>. Particularly who can drive them and where they can be driven.
