Renter's car stolen from AirBnB property

A car rented through the application TURO was stolen in Meaford.

Grey Bruce OPP were told that on February 20, an individual rented a white 2014 Honda Civic with the licence plate of CHRJ 705 using TURO. The individual then stayed at a rented AirBnB property on Sykes Street in Meaford that night.

The renter parked the car for the night between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and noticed it missing February 21 at 8:15 a.m.

The OPP is asking anyone in the area with video surveillance to check it between February 20 at 6 p.m. and February 21 at 8:15 a.m., and to contact the Grey Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers with any information.
