One person airlifted to hospital following crash

One person was airlifted to hospital following a crash near South Bruce.

Just after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, emergency crews responded to the report of a collision on Highway 9 between Bruce Road 3 and Concession 10 East.

South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) determined that only one vehicle was involved in the crash.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was airlifted by ORNGE to a trauma hospital with serious injuries, which were later deemed non-life-threatening.

OPP closed the roadway for the safety of the first responders. It has since been re-opened.

The investigation is ongoing.
