Man known to frequent Collingwood wanted Canada wide

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is looking for man wanted Canada wide, who is known to frequent Collingwood.

Police say he is wanted as a result of a breach of his statutory release.

Edward Harrod is described as a white man, 29-years-old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and around 182 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes with several tattoos.

Notable tattoos include a devil's head, hearts, knife, and the words "Mom" and "Dad" on his back, a flaming skull on his left calf, a top hat skull on his right calf, the words "Hard Times Don't Last" and "Hard People Do" on his left forearm, and the word "Life" on his right forearm.

He is serving a two year, eight month sentence for robbery, theft under $5,000, flight from a peace officer, operation while prohibited, assault with intent to resist arrest, and possession of a schedule one substance.

Harrod is also known to frequent Barrie and Midland.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
