Man charged for fleeing from South Bruce OPP

A 33-year-old from Huron Kinloss is facing charges for attempting to evade police Tuesday night.

South Bruce OPP stopped a motorcycle on 1st Avenue South in Chesley around 10 p.m. According to police, the driver fled from officers.

However they were later able to locate the subject vehicle and identify the driver.

As a result of the investigation, the man is facing charges for Operation while Prohibited and flight from peace officer.

Their motorcycle was impounded for 45 days and the accused will appear in Walkerton court next month.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
