OPP reminding to be careful around slow moving vehicles

Grey Bruce OPP are reminding drivers to be careful around slow moving vehicles after a collision involving a horse-drawn buggy.

On April 21 around 9:15 a.m., emergency services responded to the area of Grey Road 3 and Sideroad 6 in Chatsworth.

Eleven people were said to be in the buggy, but no injuries were reported.

A 39-year-old from South Bruce has been charged with careless driving.

Police are reminding drivers that you should follow all slow-moving vehicles, such as farm equipment and horse-drawn buggies, and if passing, do so safely and with lots of space.

Horses can get spooked by a vehicle passing, which could cause an unexpected change in the direction it's going.
