From 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 2,262 customers in Egremont, Normanby, Minto, Carrick, Proton, Durham, Ayton, Bentinck, and Brant will be without electricity.
The scheduled maintenance is to allow workers to install new hydro equipment.
All affected customers have been contacted.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
