Wellington OPP seek suspect in alleged sexual assault

Wellington County OPP are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in an alleged sexual assault that took place in Fegus.

According to police, the incident occurred on April 30, 2024. Around 5:45 p.m. at a retailer on St David Street a woman was sexual assaulted by an unknown male.

The suspect is described as white, 50-60 years-old, tall and heavyset.

He was wearing a dark baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a dark hoody, blue spandex shorts, and white sneakers, carrying keys and a black wallet at the time of the incident.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
