Sarnia resident charged in Kincardine assault

A Sarnia resident is facing assault charges following an altercation in Kincardine on Monday.

South Bruce OPP responded to a call at around 6 p.m. at an address on Highway 21.

Police said they received a report of an altercation between two people.

Officers charged one of the two, a 26-year-old individual from Sarnia, with assault.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Walkerton Court next month.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
