Moped driver dies of injuries in Grey Highlands crash

A 61-year-old Grey Highlands resident involved in a collision on Wednesday has passed away from his injuries.

Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that they and other first responders were called to the intersection of Highway 10 and Grey Road 32/Road 140 around 11:40 a.m.

According to police, the crash involved a moped and a pickup truck.

The moped driver was airlifted to a trauma centre in Toronto. The OPP reported Friday evening that the driver had died.

No other injuries were reported by police. Out of concern for the victim's family, the OPP will not release his name.

The investigation is ongoing.
