UPDATE: Closed road reopened in Blyth following fire

Dinsley Street, between Coombs Street and Morris Street, was reopened just before 8 a.m. on Sunday.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area as emergency services in Blyth investigated a fire.

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that they received the report of a residential fire late Saturday night.

Emergency crews responded to the blaze at about 11:45 p.m.

Police said the resident of the home was able to get out safely.

The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
