Wellington North wants your stories and memories for time capsule

In honour of the Township of Wellington North's 25th anniversary, it is compiling a time capsule, filled with your memories and stories.

The township's council is inviting the community to compile photographs and written letters that show what life is like in the area. It is limiting submissions to letters and photographs to allow as many people to participate as possible.

The time capsule will stay sealed until 2049. It will then be opened during the 50th anniversary celebration.

Submissions will be accepted at the municipal office in Kenilworth or via email at timecapsule@wellington-north.com by June 5.

The time capsule will be dedicated at the Township of Wellington North's 25th anniversary celebration on June 7 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

You can register for the celebration events here.
