GBPH looking for another dog involved in recent biting incident

Another biting incident has occurred in the Grey Bruce area and Grey Bruce Public Health (GBPH) is looking to find the dog and its owners.

Around 7:15 p.m. on May 25, a teenager was bitten by a large black dog at Ed Taylor Park on 12th Avenue East.

GBPH reports the teen had asked to pet the dog before the incident occurred.

The dog is believed to be named Gus and was walked by a couple with a smaller blonde dog. The blonde dog's name is potentially Teddy.

GBPH is looking to verify the dog is not infected with rabies so the victim can avoid post-exposure rabies treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to call GBPH at 519-376-9420 ext. 1355.
