School board launches multi-year strategic plan survey

The Bluewater District School Board is launching a new survey regarding its strategic plan.

A release from the school board states that the board would like to hear from the public regarding the future direction of local education.

At the board meeting on May 21, the board passed a motion to initiate the process of developing BWDSB’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan, which was last updated in 2019.

The plan includes "a vision, mission, and set of priorities that provide direction to trustees, administrators, and other board staff when it comes to the important decisions and practices that help foster student success and well-being."

To assist with the development of the plan, a public survey is being conducted until June 30, 2024.

The survey can be accessed through the board website at www.bwdsb.on.ca, board social media pages, and at the following link: https://tejoin.com/scroll/413629420

Print copies of the survey will be made available upon request by emailing info@bwdsb.on.ca.
