Georgian Bluffs looking for off-leash dog park feedback

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is inviting community members to share their thoughts on a proposed off-leash dog park.

The proposal was made by the Shallow Lake Village Improvement Committee. The Township would like to ensure the project meets everyone's needs.

"It would offer a space for dog owners to meet, fostering a stronger sense of community," said a news release. "This new addition could enhance our recreational facilities and contribute to the well-being of our residents and their pets."

The survey can be found here or hardcopies are available at the Township office or community centres. It will be available throughout the month of June.

A Connect and Collaborate event is also being held on June 18, where residents can go share ideas and thoughts about the dog park or other community projects.
