Perth County OPP are investigating after a recent arson that occurred in Perth East.
On June 12 just after 2 p.m., OPP officers responded alongside the Perth East Fire Department to a fire on Line 67, in the Township of Perth East. Investigators says there were no occupants in the building at the time, and luckily there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Perth County Major Crime Unit has now taken over the investigation into the suspicious blaze.
