Organizers say despite the heat, the RCMP Musical Ride in Teeswater will be galloping ahead Wednesday night.
The local fairgrounds will open at 5 p.m. for the 6:15 p.m. Opening Ceremonies.
The Global Pet Foods SuperDogs pre-show will start at 6:30 p.m. before the main attraction, the Musical Ride begins at 7:30 p.m.
There will be local food trucks on site throughout the evening.
The Teeswater Agricultural Society reminds attendees that the grandstand has no shade, so they encourage everybody to bring umbrellas, water bottles, and whatever else will help them keep cool.
Admission to the event is by donation.
