Hospital foundation receives another donation toward CT scanner campaign

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received yet another donation towards its ongoing major campaign.

Wingham Branch 180 of the Royal Canadian Legion has donated $8,000 towards the ongoing Caring Together fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $2.5 million for a brand new CT scanner at the Wingham and District Hospital.

The Wingham Legion Branch is dedicated to serving the community. They raise funds through the many events they host such as Wing Night, musical performances, corn hole tournament and meat draw raffle.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
