An iconic area athlete is chipping in to help local fire departments promote smoke detectors.
PGA Golf's Corey Conners teamed up for a public service announcement with the North Perth, Wellington North, Minto and Mapleton Fire Departments.
Filmed at the Listowel Golf Course, the PSA reminds residents that testing smoke alarms regularly is a lot easier than making birdie.
The announcement was made possible by contributions from Deryck West Insurance Agency, Edge Mutual Insurance, Germania Mutual Insurance, South EastHope Mutual Insurance, and Trillium Mutual Insurance.
