Hundreds of dollars worth of ice cream stolen from Listowel business

Provincial police in Perth County are investigating a delicious theft from a Listowel business.

According to OPP, thieves broke into the unnamed business on Perth Line 86 at Tremaine Avenue South sometime between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and stole a "large quantity" of ice cream.

The value of the stolen frozen treat combined with damage to the business is approximately $800, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information or relevant video surveillance from the area to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
