OPP investigating mischief at Chatsworth businesses

The Grey Bruce OPP are investigating two recent acts of mischief in the Municipality of Chatsworth.

On July 8, OPP responded to a business on Sideroad 30 after reports three pieces of heavy equipment were driven into a pond on the property. Police estimate the damage exceeds $120,000.

On the same day, another business on Sideroad 30 reported that office buildings were vandalized, and a 2016 Dodge 2500 pickup truck was stolen. The stolen vehicle has since been recovered.

Police believe both occurrences are involving the same individual.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
