Stratford police seek video of car overturning at party

More than a month after a car was flipped onto its roof at a party in Perth South, Stratford police are asking anyone with video of the incident to come forward.

According to police, the owner of the Honda Accord was at a party in the area near an out of service bridge on Line 14 around 1:30 a.m. on June 8 when he was told his vehicle had been overturned. The owner and several of his friends were able to flip the vehicle back onto its wheels and have it towed to a body shop. The incident was then reported to police.

The vehicle had significant damage to its roof, windshield and other areas of the body, police said.

No suspects have been identified in the incident, but police have since learned there may be video of the overturning. They are asking anyone who has video to call them at 519-271-4141 extension 2 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.p3tips.com.
