Two-vehicle crash north of Clinton leaves four people hurt

Four people were sent to hospital, one with serious injuries, after two vehicles collided at an intersection north of Clinton.

The crash happened on Base Line at Londesboro Road in Central Huron around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, Huron OPP said.

First responders arrived to find four people suffering injuries. They were all taken to a local hospital, where one ended up needing to be airlifted to London for treatment due to the severity of injuries.

The OPP traffic incident management and enforcement team was brought in to assist with the investigation into the cause of the crash.

Sections of Base Line and Londesboro Road remained closed Friday morning, but re-opened over the noon hour.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
