Police seeking witnesses and video after incident at local event

An altercation that disrupted a community event resulted in the arrest of two youths.

Perth County OPP were called at 10 p.m. on July 18 to an altercation at a community event on Perth Line 86, at Tremaine Avenue South, in Listowel. Two youths received minor injuries during the altercation.

Both of the youths were arrested and charged with numerous offences. Police are now seeking any witnesses or possible videos of the altercation as they continue their investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has video of it should immediately contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
