UPDATE: Road reopens following "serious" single-vehicle crash in Georgian Bluffs

An overnight crash kept a road in Georgian Bluffs closed throughout the morning commute on Friday, but the road has now reopened.

Grey Bruce OPP, paramedics, and firefighters were called to the single-vehicle collision on Grey Road 17 just after 12:30 a.m.

A 55-year-old driver from Georgian Bluffs was taken by ambulance to a London Hospital in critical condition which has since been downgraded.

Grey Road 17 was closed between Big Rock Road and Lindenwood Road for the investigation but has since reopened just before 1 p.m.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
