Montgomery Industrial Services gives $10,000 for new CT scanner

Another local business is helping bring a CT Scanner to the Wingham and District Hospital.

The hospital's foundation announced a $10,000 donation from Montgomery Industrial Services, bringing it closer to it's $2.5 million goal.

Nicole Duquette, executive director of the foundation, says owners Paul and Honey Montgomery have always been supporters.

"The Montgomerys have been fabulous in the past for sponsoring events over the years and we've really appreciated having them on board in that capacity," she said. "Including them as donors for our Caring Together campaign is really meaningful and I know it's very meaningful for them as well. Their daughter Jillian is an X-ray/CT tech here in Wingham, so they really understand the value of having that technology close to home."

Those looking to contribute to the campaign can visit the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation website at www.wdhfoundation.ca.
