Saugeen Shores police seek SUV driver that fled collision scene

Saugeen Shores Police are trying to locate the driver of an SUV that fled the scene of an accident Wednesday night.

According to police, around 7 p.m., a white SUV was westbound on High Street and stopped in the left turn lane. The SUV attempted to turn northbound onto Albert Street and sideswiped a red sedan stopped at the red light in the westbound through lane.

The driver reportedly did not stop and fled the scene.

Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a white SUV with damage to the passenger side, including potentially a red paint transfer.
