All Aboard Palmerston hosting special Trains Through Time event

The Town of Minto and All Aboard Palmerston are inviting families out for a special event this fall.

On the morning of September 28, All Aboard Palmerston's annual Tiny Trains event will have a new twist, called Trains Through Time.

Families can bring their kids out to learn about Palmerston's railway history, hearing stories from the past, and playing time period related games together.

Families will be required to register in advance for time slots occurring each half hour

between 9 a.m. until noon at the Palmerston Lions Park Pavilion. Families will “leave the station” in groups, making stops at various points through the Palmerston Lions Park. The event will conclude at the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum, where kids will receive a prize.

The end of this event coincides with the Minto Farmers’ Market final market and Fall Fun Day. More information can be found at https://www.allaboardpalmerston.ca/.
