UPDATE: One dead in Arran-Elderslie crash

South Bruce OPP say one person has died after a single-vehicle collision in Arran Elderslie.

Emergency crews were called just before 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 15 about a crash on B Line in Arran-Elderslie.

"The lone occupant was transported to hospital and pronounced deceased," said South Bruce OPP Constable Melissa Barfoot.

B Line was closed between Concession 10 and Bruce Road 40 for about nine hours. It reopened shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
