One airlifted to hospital after collision in Howick

Officials say one person remains in critical, but stable condition following a three-vehicle collision at Mayne Corners in Howick Township Tuesday evening.

Emergency services responded to the call at Fordwich Line and Perth Road 178 around 5:30 p.m.

Huron County OPP said that two injured occupants were taken to hospital, including one that airlifted to London.

Police remained on scene to investigate. The roads were closed for several hours but have since been reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
