Mischief incidents under investigation by police

A pair of recent mischief incidents is being investigated by Perth County OPP.

According to police, an initial incident was reported on August 4 after graffiti was located on Perth Road 180, between Line 24 and Line 26 near Staffa in the Municipality of West Perth. Words were spray painted on the road.

The second incident was reported on August 19 after graffiti was located at the intersection of Road 181 and Line 24, in the Municipality of West Perth. Words were once again spray painted on the road.

Police believe the two incidents may be related. Anyone with information about this investigation, including dash camera or video surveillance, is asked to contact the Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
