Impaired charge laid after vehicle seen driving over residential lawn

South Bruce OPP say alcohol was involved in an incident that saw a vehicle being driven across a residential lawn in Mildmay.

Police were notified about the vehicle being driven erratically in the area on Saturday afternoon. The vehicle was reportedly being driven dangerously on the road and roaring over a residential lawn.

Officers arrived in the area and located a suspect vehicle. It was pulled over and its driver arrested.

A 48-year-old is charged with impaired driving and dangerous driving.

Police are reminding all drivers that traffic safety is everyone's responsibility.
