UPDATE: Elderly who went missing while travelling to Flesherton found safe

South Bruce OPP say an elderly Huron-Kinloss couple who vanished while en route to Flesherton have been found safe.

74-year-old Brian and 75-year-old Janis, whose last names were not released, left their home in Huron-Kinloss on Thursday to travel to Flesherton in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. However, the pair did not make it to their destination and did not return home.

Police confirmed just after 2:30 p.m. on August 30 that the pair had been located and they were in good health.

The OPP are thanking the public for their assistance in finding the couple.
