The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound reported MLS home sales showed signs of picking up in August.
The number of homes sold in through the MLS system totaled 236 units in August 2024 in the region, up 7.8 per cent from August 2023.
The MLS Home Price Index composite benchmark price was $582,200 in August 2024, essentially unchanged, down just 0.2 per cent compared to August 2023.
The number of new listings saw an increase of 5.6 per cent from August 2023. There were 471 new residential listings in August 2024.
Active residential listings numbered 1,398 units on the market at the end of August, a sizable gain of 12.3 per cent from the end of August 2023.
