Drive shed a 'total loss' after fire

A fire in North Perth has resulted in the "total loss" of a drive shed, according to the North Perth Fire Department.

Fire Chief Janny Pape confirmed that just after 2 a.m. on September 12, the North Perth Frie Department responded to a report of a shed fire on Perth Line 72. Tanker assistance was provided by Perth East’s Milverton station.

Upon arrival, crews reported a fully engulfed driving shed with multiple exposures.  The building is a total loss. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Perth County OPP were also on-scene to assist with road closures, with the roads surrounding the area now open.
