Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington held a very successful shredding event in Mount Forest.
Crime Stoppers board members, Friends of Crime Stoppers and Wasteco Canada staff managed to raise $3,250 at the event on September 14 in Mount Forest.
The event promotes the awareness of identity theft, and is a safe and professional way to get rid of documents.
Supporters lined up for the drive-thru service before the 9 a.m. start to support the shredding event, which Crime Stoppers hold to raise money for Tipster rewards and to operate the program.
