Owen Riegling to headline Grey Cup Kickoff Show

Owen Riegling will be a part of this year’s Grey Cup festivities.

The CFL announced the Mildmay’s native will be the headline act for the Grey Cup Kickoff Show at this year’s big game in Vancouver.

The 25-year-old won the "Breakthrough Artist Of The Year" and "Songwriter Of The Year" at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards last month.

"It’s an absolute honour and privilege to be a part of the 111th Grey Cup and the SiriusXM Kickoff Show," said Riegling in a release. "Growing up, I can remember gathering around the TV every year with friends and family to watch the big game and now I’m beyond thankful that my music is the reason I’ll be in attendance this year."

The league also announced online star Sophia Camara will perform the anthem.

The Jonas Brothers will play the halftime show of the 111th Grey Cup which goes November 17 at BC Place.
