Charges laid after recovery of stolen vehicle

South Bruce OPP have charged one person following an investigation into a stolen vehicle.

On October 9 just before 10 a.m., a patrolling officer spotted a stolen vehicle at an address along Queen Street, Municipality of Kincardine.  

Police arrested a 27-year-old from North Huron as a result of the vehicle being recovered.

The accused is facing 3 counts of property obtained by crime and failure to comply with probation order.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
