Charges laid following ATV crash

Wellington County OPP have charged one person following an ATV crash.

On October 12 at 8 p.m., police responded to a crash involving an ATV and a parked vehicle on Queen Street South in Harriston.

Police found the driver of the ATV to be impaired by alcohol and the driver was placed under arrest.

As a result, a 29-year-old from Harriston is now facing charges including operation while impaired, dangerous operation, operation while under suspension and other charges.

Luckily there were no injuries. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Guelph at a later date to answer to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
