Clinical masking for staff and doctors at Brightshores Health System

Brightshores Health system is implementing targeted clinical masking for staff and physicians working in direct patient contact effective Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Brightshores stated the proactive approach will protect patients, staff and physicians as the fall respiratory virus season begins.

Masking will apply to all inpatient and outpatient settings.

Brightshores also strongly recommends that patients and visitors wear masks throughout Brightshores hospital sites in Owen Sound, Southampton, Lions Head, Markdale, Meaford and Wiarton.

Masks are available at those sites for people who wish to wear one.
