UPDATE: Perth County crash results in serious injuries

A serious collision in Perth County on Friday sent three people to hospital, two of them with serious injuries.

Perth County OPP were called to the scene of the crash just before 3:20 p.m. on Perth Line 55.

OPP reported two vehicles were involved in the collision – a passenger vehicle and a farm vehicle. All three people from the passenger vehicle were transported to hospital, one via Air Ornge. Two people  were treated for serious injuries. OPP have charged the driver of the farm vehicle

 Just before 3:20 p.m. Friday, the OPP shared via "X", formerly Twitter, that Perth Line 55 was closed between Road 179 and Road 180, and Livingston Line was closed between Line 55 and Walton Road in West Perth due to the crash.

Police tweeted just before 5 p.m. that all roads have reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
