Nearly $96K in silver stolen from Meaford home

Provincial police in Grey-Bruce are probing a silver heist that has spanned two years.

OPP were notified about the theft from a home in the Municipality of Meaford last Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators have so far determined approximately $95,992 worth of silver bars were removed from the residence without the owner's knowledge over the course of two years.

No information about potential suspects has been released.

Police are asking anyone with information about the theft to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
