MPP announces additional funding after provincial increase to OMPF funds

Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has announced more funding for his riding following a rise in Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund money.

The provincial government recently announced that OMPF funding would be getting an increase of $100 million over two years, bringing the total funding through OMPF to $600 million by 2026 for municipalities across the province.

With the increase, municipalities in Perth-Wellington will be sharing an additional $785,400 this year, according to a release from Rae.

For 2025, there will be an additional $50 million split between 390 municipalities and another additional $50 million in 2026 through the OMPF.
